Wastepower at a glance
WASTEPOWER has developed 100% biological DME technologies for the automotive and aviation industries, offering a cheaper and a clean CO2-negative combustion infrastructure as well as a significant cost reduction for the industry and end-users. For some time now, there have been very successful test models with modified trucks and car engines.
Our technology utilizes renewable biomass waste as raw materials, resulting in completely biological DME production with negative CO2 emissions. This makes our DME technology cheaper and more environmentally friendly, as well as a significant cost reduction for both the industry and the end-user. In contrast, the trials to date have mainly used natural gas, which makes the conventional method more expensive and less quickly applicable globally.
Given the looming energy and fuel supply crisis due to recent geopolitical crises, we are offering an easily implementable and cost-effective solution for the global market today.
As gasoline, kerosene and gas prices continue to rise sharply, it has become imperative to accelerate the development of globally applicable synthetic or biological diesel, kerosene, and gas supply alternatives.
The production maturity of the DME technologies and DME plants used is already given (TRL 7-8). A KFW loan tailored to the company is to be used for the strategic development of production facilities. In the first implementation phase, existing biogas plants will be converted. In the second development phase, pure DME plants will be newly built.
