WASTEPOWER offers first-class DME technologies and processes that ensure environmentally friendly production and recycling of dimethyl ether (DME). DME can be used as an alternative fuel to diesel as it is extremely low in emissions, sulfur-free and performs comparably better, and is less polluting than diesel, eliminating the need for expensive particulate filters.
As a rule, common DME production processes of other companies are only 30% more environmentally friendly than our further development of these processes. The development of the DME sector of WASTEPOWER represents a novel and 100% environmentally friendly and CO2-neutral process.
The WASTEPOWER DME plants use biomass waste but also abundant plastic waste.
Biomass waste includes household biological waste, agricultural waste, poultry waste, etc. Most of the biological waste ends up in landfills, either burned or put into large biogas plants. Landfilling and burning in this is not environment friendly, produces toxic emissions, and also destroys the land on which it is dumped. The same is true for large producers of DME, which so far only use common (and not environmentally friendly) processes to produce methanol, which uses natural gas and coal.
Cheaper Process
Compared to the competition, our process is more cost effective because one of the biggest cost factors, the raw material, is a waste product that is available free of cost.
Climate neutral
WASTEPOWER DME production is extremely climate neutral, requiring no additional CO2 from the air.
Simple conversion
DME from renewable feedstocks can be produced directly from renewable methanol using existing production capacities and existing supply chains.

We are excited present our capabilities for producing alternative fuels that will pave the way towards a green fuel economy. Our focus is on converting waste materials such as biomass, including eucalyptus plants and chicken feathers, into valuable resources We have established joint venture deals with manufacturers who produce large amounts of waste but lack efficient recycling methods. Disposing of it in landfills or burning it incurs costs and has negative environmental impacts.
Our vision at WASTEPOWER is to reduce the global impact of waste by utilizing it to produce sustainable materials for various applications. Our DME and biokerosene are the products that have great potential to replace current fossil fuels, especially diesel and kerosene used in the aviation industry.
Given the quantity of feedstock worldwide, we are seeking to replace all the demand for diesel and kerosene with DME and biokerosene. This feedstock is sustainable and abundant. We chose DME because it is very similar to diesel and does not produce exhaust gases when used in the transportation sector. This makes it a preferred fuel for the transportation sector. Moreover, it can be produced in large quantities.
